Position Overview

Pro-Fi 20/20 is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Production Assistant to join our marketing team. This role is responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling visual content that supports marketing campaigns across email, social media, podcasts, YouTube, and other digital platforms.

The ideal candidate is passionate about video production, technically skilled in editing tools, a disciplined project manager, and comfortable collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver polished, on-brand content.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Video Editing

  • Edit raw video footage into polished final products that reflect Pro-Fi’s brand and messaging.
  • Enhance videos using graphics, music, transitions, color correction, sound editing, and visual effects.
  • Adapt edits for multiple formats including podcasts, YouTube, social media reels, case studies, marketing campaigns, etc.

2. Technical Proficiency

  • Manage video editing workflows efficiently to meet deadlines and campaign goals.
  • Maintain organized project files and prioritize tasks across multiple projects.
  • Proactively communicate production challenges, delays or editing concerns.

3. Video Production

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute video shoots.
  • Assist with camera setup, lighting, and audio to capture high-quality footage.
  • Prepare studio environment for internal content, podcasts, client testimonials, partner, and alliance videos.
  • Help maintain and organize production equipment.
  • Travel occasionally for on-site filming when needed.
  • Represent the Pro-Fi brand positively during on-site shoots and external events.

4. Asset Management

  • Organize and maintain digital video assets.
  • Efficient use of systems for naming, archiving, retrieval, and reuse of content.

5. Collaboration & Performance

  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to understand project goals and deliver effective content.
  • Participate in brainstorming and concept development for marketing campaigns.
  • Review and quality-check final video outputs to ensure technical and brand standards are met.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

In your first 6–12 months, you will:

  • Consistently deliver polished video edits that align with our Pro-Fi’s brand and marketing strategy.
  • Help produce engaging video content across podcasts, social media, YouTube, client testimonials, etc.
  • Maintain a well-organized digital video library for efficient content reuse.
  • Collaborate smoothly with marketing and leadership to bring ideas from concept to final production.
  • Contribute creative ideas that improve the quality and effectiveness of our video marketing.

Technology/Software Experience:

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, Media Encoder, After Effects, Firefly and Audition)
  • Opusclip (Reel maker)
  • Vimeo
  • Sync
  • Loom
  • Canva
  • ChatGPT

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in video production and editing
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Copywriting or scriptwriting experience is a plus
