Position: Videographer cum Video Editor

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand standards, especially for podcast productions and digital platforms. Experience with high-end camera equipment and a background in the skin and hair industry is preferred, as this role involves creating content that resonates with our audience in dermatology and hair treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content, with a primary focus on podcast production for SkinQure’s YouTube and social media channels.
• Operate and manage high-end camera equipment to capture visually compelling footage, ensuring lighting, framing, and composition align with our brand aesthetic.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to brainstorm and develop engaging video content ideas that align with SkinQure’s brand message.
• Conduct research to stay updated with industry trends, best practices in video editing, and competitive content strategies, incorporating innovative approaches in projects.
• Edit videos using advanced editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects), applying effects, transitions, and sound design for a polished final product.
• Design and create eye-catching, high-converting thumbnails to maximize video performance and engagement.
• Ensure content meets SkinQure’s standards in terms of quality, creativity, and brand voice.
• Assist in creating creative video content for social media platforms, repurposing existing footage where needed.
• Utilize graphic design skills to enhance video content, incorporating elements created in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
• Maintain a strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to create viral and shareable content.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing podcast shoots, viral thumbnails, and other creative projects.
• Strong knowledge of high-end camera handling, particularly for skin and hair-related video shoots.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.
• Experience in graphic design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
• A background or experience in the skin and hair industry is highly preferred.
• Excellent creative and research skills to develop original and engaging content ideas.
• A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• High sense of responsibility, with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
