Job description

The Valerin Group, Inc. (Valerin) is a full-service marketing and communications firm looking for a creative, skilled Video Editor with training in Graphic Design to join our Florida-based communications firm. This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience and will be assigned to the Tampa office. The editor will assist the creative director on producing a wide variety of videos, animations and motion graphics utilizing in-house visualization capabilities, including traditional camera cinematography, aerial drone video and 360-degree media. A working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is required to support the video workflow, as well as provide graphic design support within the creative department.

Required Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge and application of Adobe's Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects and Audition and skills in using Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and self-manage multiple projects at a time.
• Ability to thrive in a fluid, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and quick turnaround.
• Can follow written directions but also think outside the box and ask questions.
• Flexible, collaborative, and able to work with a variety of team members to reach common goals.
• Ability to take constructive criticism and work with team to improve the process.
• Microsoft Office knowledge required.
• Desire to learn more non-traditional marketing including AI and 3D content.
