Video & Photography Intern

Ticket Fairy is an event ticketing and sales acceleration platform with global offices across 10+ countries. The brand seeks to support the proliferation of live entertainment culture, with a particular focus on urban, underground, and bass music. Our customers are organizers of shows, concerts, and large music festivals, as well as fans of live music.

In the UAE, our focus is on Live Music Events, Activities, Theme parks, Brunches, Conferences, Theatre Shows, and Trade Shows.

Job Brief

We are looking for a creative Video and Photography Intern to join our team in Dubai!

Applicants must have a strong command of the English language, be excellent communicators with their team, and adhere to professional standards, in addition to having their qualifications and/or experience as video editors. Applicants will be required to submit demos of their work for review as part of the application process.

Responsibilities

• Capture, edit, and render photographs, short and long video content for different platforms.
• Create exceptional product & service videos for promotional and informational purposes.
• Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation.
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the videos, and input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
• Research and develop concepts based on trending themes in the events industry to create viral videos, journalistic content, and new properties.
• Work closely with Ticket Fairy clients for event video promos and teasers.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips, and other important aspects of the project.

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages.
• Mandatory Skills: Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Adobe After Effects / Motion, Adobe
• Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and relevant graphics processing mediums
• Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
