As a growing small business, we're looking for an experienced Video Producer who is ready to step into a leadership role and grow with us. About the Role

We are seeking a Video Producer whose strongest craft and passion is editing, but who is fully capable of supporting and contributing across the entire production lifecycle.

This is not a remote editing position. It is an in-person production role within a collaborative studio environment.

The right candidate is comfortable operating as both:

• A hands-on producer in studio and field environments
• A lead editor shaping narrative and post-production execution

This role is structured with two levels. The Manager level serves as a proving ground for greater ownership. The Senior Manager level is reserved for those who demonstrate independent project leadership, client maturity, and operational contribution.

Primary Responsibilities

Production:

• Support or lead projects from concept through delivery
• Participate in client discovery conversations and translate business goals into production strategy
• Develop run-of-show documents, shot lists, and productions plans
• Direct interviews and manage on-camera talent
• Operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment in studio and field environments
• Travel to support conferences, events, and field shoots

Post-Production:

• Lead editing on branded films, executive interviews, event recaps, and digital campaigns
• Craft narrative structure that drives clarity, engagement, and emotional impact
• Execute professional-level color correction and audio finishing
• Design and integrate motion graphics using Adobe Creative Suite
• Manage client revision processes with professionalism

Operational Contribution:

• Maintain organized project and archive systems
• Contribute to workflow improvements and production efficiency
• Support live broadcast and streaming operations when required
• Think beyond creative execution. Understand margin, efficiency, and scalability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in video production (Manager level)
• 8+ years of professional experience independently producing projects (Senior Manager Level)
• Advanced proficiency across Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong editorial instincts and storytelling judgement
• Experience operating professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment
• Client communication experience in professional environments
• Ability to manage timelines and competing priorities calmly
• Ownership mentality and entrepreneurial mindset

Level & Compensation

We reasonably believe that the salary range for this role is:

• Manager level: $65,000 - $85,000
• Senior Manager level: $85,000 - $105,000

A wide range of factors will be considered when determining compensation, including–but not limited to–your skill set, subject matter knowledge, demonstrated production leadership, client management experience, and operational maturity.

This role will begin as a full-time 1099 contractor, with the opportunity to transition into a W2 employee status that includes medical and retirement benefits, pending demonstrated performance and a successful working relationship.

As a 1099 contractor, you'll be immediately eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefit from our flexible, open leave policy. Remote work is also supported when no on-site or field work is required, provided that a high degree of trust and reliability has been established.
