VIDEO PRODUCER & VISUAL CONTENT SPECIALIST
We’re looking for a Multimedia Producer to help bring freight rail industry messaging to life through high-quality visual content. In this role, you’ll play a key part in production—leading the technical execution of video shoots, editing, and delivering content across platforms. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys being in the mix—setting up and running shoots, capturing compelling footage, and turning it into polished, impactful final content. The role will also help produce additional creative, including social graphics, data visualizations, and more.
This position reports to the SVP of Communications, with day-to-day direction and guidance provided by the AVP of Creative. You'll also collaborate closely with colleagues across the Communications team.
Responsibilities
Produce Video Content

Shoot video and photography in-studio and on-location, capturing high-quality footage, interviews, and b-roll

Fully own setup and breakdown of camera, lighting, and audio for shoots

Make sound technical decisions in both controlled and field environments

Operate equipment independently to ensure strong production quality

Edit video from raw footage through final delivery, including color correction and audio cleanup

Create motion graphics, titles, and simple animations as needed

Adapt videos for social, web, YouTube, presentations, and campaigns

Maintain the in-house studio and equipment, including supporting livestream video
Create Supporting Graphic & Visual Content

Support with AAR’s paid digital campaign and social media program

Develop supporting visual assets for video content, including thumbnails, title cards, and promotional graphics

Help design graphics for social media, web, presentations, and digital campaigns as needed

Help identify data, research and policy insights that can be turned into compelling visual content
- Adapt and resize creative assets for different platforms and formats

Support in-house creative needs, including office digital displays
Collaborate on Creative Execution

Work with the Communications team to develop creative concepts across owned and paid

Contribute ideas while aligning with established direction and brand

Ensure consistency in quality and style across deliverables
Qualifications
Experience
-
A minimum of 3 years of experience in video production, editing, and multimedia content creation

Experience executing shoots from setup through final delivery

Background in agency, in-house, media, nonprofit, or similar environment

Ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling visuals
Technical Skills

Strong working knowledge of cameras, lighting, and audio equipment

Ability to independently set up and run shoots

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including knowledge and experience with Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator

Experience with motion graphics (After Effects or similar)

Strong working knowledge of graphic design for digital content

Comfortable producing content for social and digital platforms

Comfortable exploring emerging AI technologies
