Video Production Coordinator

The Assembly Republican Media Services Office is looking for a highly motivated and qualified candidate to fill the position of Video Production Coordinator. Video Production Coordinators work under the guidance of a Sr. Media Coordinator and/or Sr. Video Production Coordinator.

Responsibilities Include:

• Visual Storytelling using creative video as a medium.
• Creating videos from concept to completion including messaging, script/conducting interviews, direction, light design, camera operation, editing and graphics, with an emphasis on creative storytelling for documentary and narrative work.
• Reading a waveform and shooting and grading LOG picture profiles.

Requirements:

• Be personally interested in cameras and camera technology, cinematography, and show a desire to learn and expand skills.
• Be self-reliant, and work with minimal oversight, while remaining open to direction.
• Have knowledge of nonlinear editing software, preferably Adobe Premiere, Audition, After Effects, and Photo Shop.
• Have knowledge of codecs and a good grasp of exporting videos for a variety of applications.
• Be a team player.
• Be adaptable in uncontrolled filming environments and solve production challenges in real time.
• Be able to adapt to strict and tight media deadlines and turnaround times.
• Be willing to adapt to constantly changing mediums and visual environments.

In addition to the above, ideal candidates will have experience with After Effects animation.

Required as part of application:

• A short reel of a completed project.
