Job Title: Video Production Intern

Department: Marketing

Job Summary: As the Video Production Intern at Kimberbell, you will play a pivotal role in creating visually compelling content that showcases our products and engages our audience. You will be responsible for managing the production of video content, ensuring that it aligns with our brand identity and marketing objectives. This role requires a creative mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Position Type:

  • Part-time (15-25 hours per week)

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute video shoots to support marketing initiatives.
  • Develop creative concepts and storyboards for visual content in collaboration with the creative team.
  • Edit and enhance videos to meet quality standards and maintain brand consistency.
  • Manage the content production process from pre-production to post-production, ensuring timely delivery of assets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in visual content creation.

‘Day in the life’: Your day begins with reviewing and prioritizing tasks for video shoots. You collaborate with the marketing team to understand upcoming campaigns and product launches. You may spend the morning planning and storyboarding for upcoming shoots. In the afternoon, you might be on set, directing shoots, ensuring that all visuals meet quality standards, and managing the production process from start to finish. Back at the office, you edit and review footage, under direction of Creative Marketing Manager , and finalize the post-production process to deliver polished content on time.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Proven experience in content creation, with a focus on video production is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and other relevant software.
  • Understanding of videography techniques, lighting, and composition.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the retail or e-commerce industry.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 50 pounds).
  • Extended periods of standing, walking, and moving around during on-location shoots.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional evening or weekend shoots.
