Videographer

Alpha Social Media is seeking a talented and experienced Videographer to join our team. This role is predominantly focused on video production for social media platforms, while also including photography and creating business overview and highlight videos for clients ranging from local businesses to companies across the country. You will help brands tell their stories through engaging, high-quality visual content that drives results on social media and beyond.

This paid position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects in a fast-paced, creative environment. We provide all necessary gear — we primarily shoot on Sony cameras — so you do not need to bring your own equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute video shoots (and occasional photo shoots) for social media content and corporate videos, including setting up lighting, framing, and capturing professional footage
• Operate Sony cameras during filming sessions to create dynamic, story-driven visuals
• Edit raw footage into polished, platform-optimized videos using industry-standard software
• Incorporate motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance content
• Manage post-production tasks including color correction, sound design, music integration, and voiceovers
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts, storyboards, and shot lists tailored to client goals
• Shoot both short-form social media content (Reels, TikToks, etc.) and longer business overview/highlight videos
• Maintain organized media libraries and archive footage properly

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in corporate videography or commercial content creation (wedding, event, or personal side projects do not count toward experience)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating work for business/corporate clients
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator)
• Familiarity with Final Cut Pro is a plus
• Solid understanding of camera operation, lighting, composition, and social media video best practices
• Experience shooting on Sony cameras is highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects
• Willingness to travel for shoots (local and nationwide)
