Videographer and Video Editor

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and skilled Videographer & Video Editor to plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for marketing, social media, events, brand campaigns, and internal communication. The candidate should have strong storytelling skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Videography

• Plan, storyboard, and execute video shoots.
• Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Capture high-quality footage for interviews, events, product videos, reels, ads, and corporate content.
• Set up studio or on-site shoots, ensuring proper lighting and sound.
• Manage all shoot logistics (locations, equipment, schedules).

Video Editing

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos.
• Add transitions, graphics, subtitles, animations, and sound effects.
• Colour correct and colour grade footage.
• Sync audio and enhance overall sound quality.
• Edit videos optimized for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, website).
• Maintain brand style, tone, and consistency across all content.

Additional Responsibilities

• Manage media files, backups, and project organization.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams.
• Bring creative ideas for improving video quality and storytelling.
• Stay updated with industry trends, editing styles, and new tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics (added advantage).
• Experience handling DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lighting setups, and audio equipment.
• Strong understanding of cinematography, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Creativity and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in shooting reels or short-form social media content.
• Graphic design skills (Photoshop/Illustrator) – optional but beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of animation or 2D motion graphics.
• Portfolio showcasing previous videography and editing work.
