VIDEOGRAPHER-PHOTOGRAPHER

Position Summary:
The Videographer–Photographer at SocialGate is responsible for creating high-quality video and photo content that strengthens the company’s branding, marketing, and communication efforts. This role requires strong creative vision, technical expertise, and the ability to manage projects from concept to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, film, and photograph content including events, interviews, promotional materials, product features, and behind-the-scenes footage.
• Develop and execute visual concepts, storyboards, and shot lists aligned with SocialGate’s brand identity.
• Edit video and photo content using industry-standard software to produce polished, on-brand deliverables.
• Maintain a consistent visual style that reflects SocialGate’s creative standards.
• Manage lighting, audio, and camera setups for a variety of production environments.
• Maintain, organize, and operate all photography and videography equipment.
• Collaborate with SocialGate’s marketing, creative, and content teams to understand project goals.
• Organize and archive digital assets in a structured media library.
• Keep up with current trends, tools, and techniques in videography and photography.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a videographer and photographer with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with professional cameras (DSLR, mirrorless, or cinema) and related equipment.
• Expertise in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, color grading, and audio recording.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Strong creativity and attention to detail.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Physical ability to handle filming equipment and perform on-site shoots.
• Willingness to travel for projects or events.

Work Environment:
This role involves both office-based tasks (editing, planning) and on-site shoots indoors and outdoors.
