Stephen Sharer and team are looking for a motivated, creative, and hard-working Videographer / Production Assistant to join the crew for the summer in Avalon, NJ.

This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media content, understands storytelling, and wants real hands-on experience working inside a fast-paced creator production environment.

You’ll assist with filming, editing, posting, and helping execute daily content across multiple platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube and Snapchat.

Responsibilities

• Shoot content for all social platforms
• Assist with day-to-day production and filming
• Edit videos quickly and efficiently
• Help brainstorm viral content ideas, trends, and challenges
• Manage footage organization and media uploads
• Assist with social media posting and platform management
• Support producers and on-set crew during shoots
• Capture behind-the-scenes moments and spontaneous content opportunities

Qualifications

• Basic experience with videography and camera operation
• Familiarity with editing software such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and social media trends
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy production environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to adapt quickly and think creatively on the fly

Bonus Skills

• Experience creating your own social content
• Graphic design
• Experience managing social media accounts
• Understanding of viral pacing, hooks, and retention in short-form content

• Summer position based in Avalon, NJ
• Some long production days and weekend availability may be required

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
