Videographer / Video Editor

Position: Videographer + Assistant Editor (On-Site)
Location: Dubailand (near Global Village), Dubai
Type: Long-term / On-site

We are looking for a reliable videographer to join an active YouTube production team filming episodic content. This is a practical production job, not a cinematic film set. Shoots move fast and the goal is to capture everything clearly and efficiently.

The camera will usually be operated in auto settings. There is no time for complex lighting setups or detailed audio mixing on set, but you must still understand framing, exposure and how to capture clean usable footage.

After filming, your main responsibility is preparing the footage for the main editor.

Responsibilities

Filming

• Operate camera during episode shoots
• Follow actors and moving scenes while keeping subjects in frame
• Record clear dialogue audio using lav mics
• Monitor batteries, memory cards and equipment
• Assist with handling and carrying production gear

Assistant Editing

• Transfer and organize footage after each shoot
• Cut out mistakes, bloopers and empty sections
• Combine all usable footage into one clean timeline/file
• Sync audio if needed
• Export a clean, organized file ready for the main editor

Requirements

• Great videography experience (YouTube or similar content preferred)
• Comfortable filming handheld + DJI Stabilizators for long periods
• Good understanding of exposure, framing and audio recording
• Good editing skills (Final Cut or similar)
• Fast worker and able to keep up with production pace
• Physically able to handle camera equipment
• Must be located in Dubai and able to come on-site
