Job Description
Reporting to the Marketing & Special Projects Manager, the Videographer provides video and media expertise to support sales, customer solutions, internal training, and engaging marketing initiatives. This in-house position creates and edits commercials, video content, and photography, and supports all marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Marketing & Special Projects Manager, provide a full range of video and multimedia marketing assets. Duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Collaborate with the marketing team to execute engaging marketing events, social media, videography, and content creation regularly, in line with the Marketing Calendar.
2. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video content that aligns with overall brand and marketing goals.
3. Execute all aspects of video production, including appropriate music, graphics, and other elements. This position is responsible for the entire video creation process, from pre-production to post-production, and will provide videos in multiple formats.
4. Ensure consistency and relevancy to the brand, as well as adherence to copyright laws and company vision.
5. Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and standards to continually refine video skills.
6. Conduct storytelling and create a variety of enticing and educational content for the website and social media accordingly.
7. Assist and support special design projects, such as vehicle wraps and new digital media design initiatives.
8. Identify future digital media trends and act on them proactively.
9. Other duties as required.
Qualifications and Competencies
The position will require the following qualifications, values, and competencies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in digital media or other relevant field and 3 years of direct experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1. Proven experience as a videographer and video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of video content.
2. Proficiency with video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, and Photoshop required.
3. Experience with the entire Creative Cloud Suite is strongly preferred.
4. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
5. Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Must have strong storytelling skills.
8. Must have creative and innovative digital media skills.
9. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
10. Demonstrated organizational, time management and presentation skills.
11. Ability to use Microsoft Office and other software systems.
