Trainer Herman is hiring a part-time videographer/editor to help create engaging fitness content for social media.

We specialize in in-home and private personal training for busy professionals and parents across the North Shore suburbs, and we’re looking for someone creative who can help us film client sessions and turn them into high-quality short-form content.

Schedule

• 2–3 days per week
• Typically between 3:00 PM – 7/8:00 PM
• Flexible scheduling depending on filming needs

Responsibilities

• Film personal training sessions and behind-the-scenes content
• Capture footage professionally without disrupting sessions
• Edit short-form reels for Instagram/TikTok/Facebook
• Create entertaining, educational, and motivational fitness content
• Clip long-form footage into multiple short-form videos
• Stay up to date with social media trends and editing styles

Requirements

• Own a camera with a zoom lens
• Experience filming people in real-life environments
• Proficient with video editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, etc.)
• Strong understanding of short-form social media content
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and bring creative ideas

Bonus Points

• Experience filming fitness content
• Understanding of viral hooks and retention-based editing
• Comfortable brainstorming content ideas
• Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok trends

Pay

• Approximately $2,000/month
• Opportunity for increased pay and responsibilities as the brand grows
