Location: City of Industry, California (office location may relocate further east in the near future)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (office and remote)

Position Summary

The Video Producer & Editor is responsible for producing compelling visual content that tells the Evotrex story across digital marketing, social media, advertising, product launches, customer education, and live events. This is a highly collaborative role requiring experience throughout the entire production process: from concept development and pre-production through filming, editing, motion graphics integration, and final delivery. Because Evotrex is a growing company, this position extends beyond traditional video production. Team members are expected to contribute wherever needed, support company events, collaborate across departments, and help establish the creative standards and workflows that will define the future of the department.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production

• Plan, organize, and execute professional video productions from concept through final delivery
• Operate professional cameras, lighting, audio, stabilization, and production equipment
• Capture interviews, product demonstrations, customer testimonials, lifestyle content, marketing campaigns, and event coverage
• Scout locations and assist with production planning and logistics
• Occasionally capture still photography to support marketing initiatives
• Work independently or as part of a team as necessary

Post-Production

• Edit promotional, educational, documentary, and social media content
• Perform color correction and color grading
• Mix and clean production audio
• Integrate motion graphics and visual effects
• Prepare final deliverables optimized for multiple platforms
• Organize and maintain project files and media libraries

Creative Collaboration

• Participate in creative brainstorming and campaign planning
• Collaborate closely with marketing, engineering, product development, and executive leadership
• Help establish production workflows, creative standards, templates, and best practices
• Continuously explore new storytelling techniques and production technologies

AI & Emerging Technology

Evotrex embraces AI as a tool to improve creativity and efficiency rather than replace it. This position is expected to leverage AI technologies throughout the creative process where appropriate. Examples include:

• Research and ideation
• Script development
• Image and video generation
• Editing assistance
• Transcription and caption generation
• Workflow automation
• Creative experimentation with emerging AI tools

Trade Shows & Events

Creative team members play an active role during company events and trade shows. Responsibilities include:

• Traveling to domestic and international events
• Assisting with booth setup and teardown
• Serving as a Product Expert by demonstrating products and answering customer questions
• Engaging prospective customers and helping generate leads and pre-orders
• Capturing photo and video coverage throughout each event
• Supporting livestreams, webinars, and other customer-facing presentations when needed

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience producing and editing video content
• Strong understanding of cinematography, composition, lighting, and audio
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve (Adobe Creative Cloud preferred)
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics software
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a small team
• Willingness to travel frequently, including evenings and weekends
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically and internationally, including China

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:

• AI-assisted creative workflows
• Commercial product filmmaking
• Livestream production
• Photography
• Motion graphics
• Basic visual effects or compositing
• Drone operation (FAA Part 107 certification is a plus)
• Automotive industry
• RV, camping, or outdoor recreation
• Trade show or event production
• Documentary or branded storytelling
• Fluency in Mandarin

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
