Role Overview
As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), you will provide expert guidance, education, and support to parents navigating breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and infant feeding. You will deliver care virtually through secure platforms, empowering families with the knowledge and confidence to meet their feeding goals.

This role is ideal for compassionate professionals who thrive in virtual environments, value collaboration, and are committed to equitable, evidence-based care for all parents and babies.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group virtual lactation consultations, tailored to each family’s needs.
• Support parents with breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping, bottle-feeding, and return-to-work feeding plans.
• Identify and address common lactation challenges, including latch and positioning, milk supply concerns, and feeding discomfort.
• Collaborate with other NovoKind providers (OB/GYNs, pediatricians, doulas, therapists, nutritionists, etc.) to deliver whole-person care.
• Document sessions, care plans, and follow-up recommendations in NovoKind’s EHR (CharmHealth).
• Participate in onboarding, required training modules, and quarterly quality reviews.
• Lead or support group events, parent workshops, or educational webinars.

Requirements Current International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) credential in good standing.

• Professional licensure as required by your state of practice (if applicable).
• Experience providing lactation care in a clinical, community, or virtual setting.
• Strong knowledge of infant feeding, maternal health, and lactation management.
• Excellent communication and virtual engagement skills.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to deliver professional, secure virtual care.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $44.71 - $53.85 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 2 per week
