Position Overview

Tutors will deliver high-quality, personalized 1:1 support to help students strengthen academic skills, boost confidence, and improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized virtual tutoring sessions in your subject area(s) of expertise

• Deliver clear, engaging instruction that supports comprehension, skill development, and academic success

• Assist students with assignments, study skills, test preparation, and concept mastery

• Give actionable feedback to help students grow academically

• Communicate progress with students and families professionally and consistently

• Maintain dependable scheduling and professionalism in a virtual setting

Qualifications

• Recent experience teaching or tutoring virtually (required)

• Strong subject knowledge in one of the following

  • Pre-Calculus, Statistics, AP Statistics, AP Computer Science A & Principles,

  • AP US History (APUSH), AP World History, AP European History, AP Psychology, AP US Government & Politics, AP Comparative Government, AP Human Geography, AP Economics (Micro & Macro)

  • AP Spanish Language & Culture, AP French Language & Culture, AP Latin, AP Mandarin Chinese, German, Japanese

• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students

• Ability to break down and explain complex concepts clearly

• Reliable computer, webcam, and high-speed internet
