Virtual/Remote Paralegal – Illinois

VPAS, LLC provides off-site (virtual) paralegal and legal administrative assistance to attorneys and law firms. We are seeking a remote paralegal for as-needed, contract work, ~5 hours per week (hours may fluctuate +/- and are not guaranteed). This position focuses on civil law, family law, and estates and probate law.

Previous paralegal experience in IL is required ( 3 years minimum). Must have excellent writing and communication skills. Must have an office set up, including a computer (no printer or scanner required - you will never need to print and/or mail).

Illinois legal administrative and/or paralegal experience is required for this position.

Preference given to candidates with Cook County experience.

Freelance paralegals are considered independent contractors and are paid per hour, based on experience.
