VISUAL CONTENT SPECIALIST

• Design and produce high-quality photography, and video content for social media, digital signage, email campaigns, and print materials.

· Plan, shoot, edit, and produce high-quality short-form and long-form video content for BGSU Dining programs, events, locations, menu items, student experiences, and campus initiatives, including scripting, production, post-production, and quality assurance.

· Ensure all visual assets are consistent with BGSU Dining, Chartwells, and client brand standards.

· Stay current on design trends, social media best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing.

· Catalogs and organizes the digital archives of photographs and video facilitating the uploading and archival of digital assets, digital backup, and retrieval of catalogued images. Assists and provides input in the overall maintenance of this process.

· Develop, pitch, and execute creative video concepts and visual storytelling strategies that support BGSU Dining’s social media presence, marketing goals, events, promotions, and campus engagement efforts.

· Collaborate with marketing leadership, social media interns, campus partners, and internal departments to develop project-related stories and creative content.

· Attend staff, region-wide, and corporate wide meetings.

· Utilize a variety of techniques and technologies to enhance the visual appeal and storytelling of videos, such as animation, and special effects.

· Manage and maintain all video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio equipment, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

· Continuously evaluate and improve video production processes, and implement new strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.

· Perform post-production work including video editing, color correction, sound mixing, photo editing, motion and final export for multiple platforms.

· Troubleshoot production and post challenges.

· Build and evolve video templates and repeatable formats that enable consistent, scalable storytelling

· Create platform-specific horizontal and vertical video content for LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook.
