The Visual Designer is responsible for concepting, developing, and designing branded campaigns and assets across multiple formats, including social, digital, web, loyalty, print, and video. Key responsibilities include contributing to the development of design strategies, creating visual content for various company platforms, and supporting brand storytelling through multimedia design. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, experience producing diverse media (print, photography, video, motion graphics), and confidence working with Adobe Creative Suite, video editing tools, and key social platforms. The Visual Designer should be creative, detail-oriented, flexible, and professional, with a keen eye for design.

This is a full-time, Orlando-based position that requires flexibility in schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Essential Functions

Creative Development & Production
  • Adhere to brand design standards and processes.
  • Develop thoughtful, brand-appropriate design solutions that meet company objectives.
  • Concept and design core brand assets, templates, and campaign materials.
  • Concept and design limited-time offer (LTO) assets as directed.
  • Concept and design franchise-requested assets as directed.
  • Create design assets to support internal communications and operational tools.
  • Adapt content based on output channels and deliverables.
  • Review and provide feedback on creative team output.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers as needed.
Marketing Technology Support
  • Develop, modify, and adapt design templates as directed.
  • Concept and design for marketing technology interfaces.
  • Update platforms such as JII.com, Marvia, and the Rewards App.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers as needed.
Social Media Content Support
  • Design graphic assets (e.g., static imagery, overlays, motion graphics) in collaboration with the Social Media & Content Manager.
  • Assist with photoshoots as assigned, in collaboration with the Social Media & Content Manager.
Video Production Support
  • Develop design assets (e.g., overlays, motion graphics, video elements) to support brand video productions, including national digital ads.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media & Content Manager to co-direct small video shoots (e.g., Instagram Reels).
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers as needed.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Art, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design or digital media design.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong eye for composition and visual design.
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly through design.
  • Proficiency across social media platforms.
  • Experience developing print and digital content (photography, video, graphics).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and design decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with timeline-based video editing software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a growing company environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfort with learning and adopting new technology platforms.
Physical Demands:
  • Primarily an office-based role requiring extended periods of sitting and computer work, with occasional standing or walking.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements with arms, hands, and wrists (e.g., using a mouse, keyboard, or design tools).
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and perceive sound by ear.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including occasional work with hands above shoulder level (e.g., setting up photography or video equipment).
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects occasionally, up to 50 pounds (e.g., cameras, lighting, or props).
  • Ability to tolerate varying temperatures and noise levels when attending shoots or visiting store locations.
  • Occasional twisting, turning, or bending of the body as needed for photography, video capture, or creative setup.
  • Ability to travel locally to multiple locations for shoots and content capture.
