The Visual Interior Designer is responsible for the execution and upkeep of the resort’s visual presentation, décor standards, and seasonal transformations. This role ensures all guest-facing spaces are brand-aligned, visually compelling, operationally functional, and seasonally appropriate, with a strong emphasis on peak-season execution and off-season planning.
The position supports design vision and operational needs by coordinating closely with Guest Services, Housekeeping, Engineering, Events, and Marketing to ensure consistent and high-quality presentation across the resort.
Key Responsibilities

Execute and maintain the visual presentation of all guest-facing interiors across the resort

Develop and maintain design standards, palettes, and décor guidelines consistently

Plan, install, refresh, and remove seasonal décor in alignment with approved programs

Collaborate with Marketing, Events, Housekeeping, and Engineering to support visual experiences

Support room refreshes, public space updates, and approved renovation projects
-
Source, style, and recommend décor and FF&E options for approval
-
Track décor-related expenses and maintain spending within approved budgets

Maintain project timelines and quality standards
-
Source, coordinate, and maintain documentation from vendors and negotiate pricing for décor, artwork, furnishings, and accessories

Track inventory, storage, reuse, and lifecycle replacement
-
Conduct routine inspections to ensure décor condition, safety, and presentation standards
-
Coordinate external designers, stylists, or contractors when required

Required
-
1-3 years of experience in hospitality design, interior décor, visual design
-
Working knowledge of hospitality guest experience and visual presentation standards

Ability to manage multiple assignments and seasonal projects concurrently

Experience tracking expenses, coordinating vendors, and supporting budgets

Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

Proficient in design tools, software or visual planning systems
Preferred

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, interior design, visual merchandising or related field

1+ year project management experience, CAPM or PMP certification a plus

Experience supporting seasonal, event-driven, or multi-space environments

Familiarity with FF&E procurement and lifecycle planning
