Visual Merchandising Officer (Retail Stores)

Job Purpose:

The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for creating visually appealing in-store displays that reflect the brand image and drive customer engagement and sales. This role ensures that all visual presentations across shops are consistent, creative, and aligned with the brand’s marketing and seasonal campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and implement window and in-store displays that attract, engage, and motivate customers to purchase.
• Ensure consistent brand presentation and product placement across all store locations.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Retail teams to translate campaign concepts into in-store visuals.
• Monitor store layouts and display standards, ensuring timely updates for new arrivals, promotions, and seasons.
• Prepare visual guidelines and communicate display standards to store teams.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess visual standards and provide training or feedback to store staff.
• Manage visual merchandising materials and props inventory.
• Analyze sales performance of displayed products and make adjustments to improve sell-through.
• Stay updated with industry trends, competitor displays, and visual merchandising innovations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Interior Design, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in visual merchandising (preferably in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle retail).
• Strong sense of aesthetics, color coordination, and brand alignment.
• Excellent understanding of space planning and retail display techniques.
• Proficient in visual design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or similar).
• Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Work Environment:

Primarily based in-store across multiple shop locations

May require occasional travel between branches and working outside standard hours during seasonal setups or store openings.
