Voice and Piano Teacher

Position Overview:
We are seeking a part-time Voice and Piano Teacher to join our teaching team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable teaching beginner to intermediate piano and voice students, with the ability to teach advanced levels considered a strong plus. Piano instruction will include both small group classes and private lessons, while voice lessons will be private only.

Responsibilities:

• Teach engaging and structured piano lessons in small group and private formats.
• Provide private voice lessons tailored to each student’s age, skill level, and goals.
• Develop individualized lesson plans that encourage student progress, confidence, and enjoyment.
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and other school events.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents about progress, goals, and practice strategies.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive, and professional learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in both piano and vocal performance/teaching.
• Ability to teach beginner and intermediate students in both disciplines (advanced teaching experience a plus).
• Previous teaching experience with children and/or adults preferred.
• Ability to adapt teaching style to different learning needs and ages.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to student success.
• Degree in music or equivalent experience preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
