Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with preschool standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods
• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective/positive reinforcement behavior management and child welfare practices
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, early intervention skills, and social-emotional growth
• Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain an organized, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with families to support individual learning needs, including special education and toddler care considerations
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly
• Incorporate early childhood education best practices such as curriculum development, tutoring, and preschool experience to enhance learning outcomes

Qualifications

• Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is required
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies
• Experience with curriculum development across various domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods
• Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention techniques is preferred
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and community partners
• Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons that support diverse learners’ growth and development
• Certification or credential in early childhood education or related field is highly desirable
• Passion for working with young children and dedication to fostering a nurturing learning environment

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
