Volunteer Fundraising Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Volunteer Fundraising Manager to develop and implement fundraising strategies, managing campaigns and events, cultivating and maintaining relationships with donors.

Key responsibilities also involve setting fundraising goals, preparing budgets, and supervising staff or volunteers to secure financial support for their organizationto lead our fundraising initiatives and cultivate meaningful relationships with donors and community partners.

This role is vital in advancing our organization’s mission through strategic planning, effective communication, and innovative fundraising strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nonprofit work, excellent relationship management skills, and experience in fundraising and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Manage and utilize databases and CRM software to track donor information, contributions, and engagement activities
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote fundraising events and initiatives
• Cultivate relationships with existing donors while identifying new potential supporters through research and outreach
• Organize and oversee fundraising events, ensuring they meet financial targets and organizational objectives
• Maintain excellent customer service by engaging with donors, volunteers, and community stakeholders in a professional manner
• Coordinate public relations efforts to enhance the organization’s visibility and reputation within the community
• Collaborate with team members on strategic planning efforts to expand fundraising capacity

Skills

• Proficiency in CRM software and other database management tools
• Strong background in marketing, public relations, and strategic planning
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
• Skilled in research techniques to identify potential funding sources and partnership opportunities
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices, including event planning and donor engagement strategies
• Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment

Pay: $1.00 per year
