• Missing Pieces Support Group is a nonprofit organization organized by a group of women who have experienced pregnancy losses ranging from first-term miscarriages to stillborns that is dedicated to uplifting underserved communities through advocacy, education, and resource connection. We know the emotional and physical toll that this type of loss carries, and we are committed to helping others in this situation.

Our mission is to bring awareness to pregnancy loss and offer support to grieving families by:

• Providing informational resources,
• Forming a mindful community that bridges the gap between similar support services
• Providing a platform that gives families the opportunity to share their stories online.

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Website Content & UX Builder to join our team in a volunteer capacity. This is a volunteer opportunity for anyone interested in donating their time to our non-profit, not a paid position.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

• The Website Content & UX Builder is a self-driven, multi-skilled role responsible for taking content ideas, notes, and UX/UI recommendations and turning them into fully designed, accessible, and user-friendly website pages using WordPress Elementor — without reliance on additional web developers or designers. This role requires strong copy refinement skills combined with technical proficiency in Elementor, including CSS/HTML adjustments to ensure the website visually matches UX/UI standards and is easy to navigate.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent copywriting and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in WordPress and Elementor, including creating custom page layouts and using advanced styling features.
• Comfortable working independently on CSS and HTML tweaks to control page design and responsiveness.
• Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles and ability to translate design mockups or reports into functional web pages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks autonomously.
• Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration within a small team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUITES

• Refine and improve website copy for clarity, accessibility, and engagement.
• Independently create and build new website pages and sections in WordPress Elementor based on existing content, notes, and UX/UI guidance.
• Implement visual design details and layouts as specified in UX/UI reports, including custom CSS and HTML edits within Elementor to achieve pixel-perfect results.
• Ensure all pages are accessible, easy to understand, and aligned with the organization’s brand and messaging.
• Collaborate closely with the SEO specialist to incorporate optimization at the final stages.
• Train and support content updaters to use new page designs effectively (e.g., adding events or resources).
• Manage web page updates and version control independently.

TIME COMMITMENT

• Volunteer role with flexible hours (estimated 4–6 hours per week)
• Remote, with occasional virtual meetings as needed
