Leads Bahrain Airport Company's (BAC) retail, F&B, advertising, car park and non-aero concessions strategy. Driving revenue growth, concession performance and passenger experience across all commercial spaces.

Oversees commercial space optimization & planning, category management and concession agreements while partnering with stakeholders to deliver new products & services aligned to guest needs.


Manage the Non-Aero Revenue income streams for BAC including, Property and Real estate, Retail Concessions, Car Parking, Car Rental, Advertising, Food and Beverage and all other revenue streams associated with the non- aeronautical category.

  • Managing the Revenue income in excess of BD13m
  • Review current portfolio and address any inefficiencies
  • Maintain and grow revenue streams across all categories.
  • Create accurateand achievable budgetforecasts
  • to contribute to divisional Revenue targets.
  • Ensure Opex budget target are met.
  • Mentor the team in managing revenue targets, creating forecasts and identifying risk to income.


Car Park and Ground Transportation Management t o improve Customer Satisfaction and increase revenues for the Car Park portfolio

Responsible for all car parking at BIA including the day-to-day operation, staff management and revenues for the car parks at BIA. In addition, to manage the service roads, car rental

parking, executive and staff car parks operation.

  • Improve the Commercial offering with limited time and resources.
  • Attract new entrants to test the market
  • Introduce revenue sharing contracts to allow transparency and sales reporting
  • Improve the overall passenger experience


Develop the current Property and Retail portfolio for the existing terminal to identify new income streams, improve process, create management structures to protect revenue income.

  • Devise and Implement a Commercial Strategy to attract latest Brands and tenants to BIA.
  • Attract world class operators for BIA representing

the best International, Regional and Local businesses.

  • Improve and Review the Prop &RealEst to develop

where necessary.

Review current leases and improve terms on commercial agreements


Create a Commercial strategy for our car rental market, improve the standard of offer, improve the tenant relationships and create commercial agreement to

improve their offer.

  • Improve the Commercial offering with limited time and resources.
  • Attract new entrants to test the market.
  • Introduce revenue sharing contracts to allow transparency and sales reporting.


Develop new Policies and Procedures documents across property and leasing, Tenant Relationship management and Landside Commercial estates to improve the standard of the portfolio leading to improved revenue income.

  • Create and keep update a Policy and Procedures document for the NAR department.
  • Assist and manage the introduction of tenant Service

Level Agreements.

  • Assist and manage the introduction of a best practice Standard Operating Procedures Manual.
  • Benchmark performance and tenant Relations to

best practice.

  • Develop and open and constructive B2B and B2C business relationship.
  • Share information for benefit of the overall business.


Develop open and transparent Business Models and communication channels with all our Business Partners

  • Develop procedures that grows the business mutually.

Sales reporting techniques to capture sales data and review performance together. Identify action plan to improve sales, generate activities and increase penetration.


Market BIA to generate new revenue streams for sustainable income and year on year growth

  • Promote BIA as a must visit destination.
  • Promote Retail, F&B and commercial offers to attract passengers and airlines.
  • Promote the Prop and Real Est to increase

occupancy rates.

  • Promote Airport Car Parking facilities to increase off peak revenues.

Improve the customer journey at BIA.


Concession Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Lead the strategy and performance of all non-aeronautical concessions including retail, F&B, advertising, car parks, car rental, and passenger-facing commercial services.
  • Drive revenue growth, yield optimization, and commercial innovation across all concession categories.
  • Develop and deliver budgets, forecasts, and performance plans aligned with BAC commercial objectives.


Commercial Space Planning & Category Management

  • Oversee commercial space optimization and category management to maximize revenue, brand relevance, and passenger satisfaction.
  • Lead tenant mix strategy and brand selection aligned with passenger demographics and journey needs.
  • Identify opportunities for new products, services, and experiential concepts.


Concession Agreements & Performance Management

  • Oversee concession agreements, including revenue-sharing models, KPIs, SLAs, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ensure transparent sales reporting, performance tracking, and governance across all concessionaires.
  • Lead corrective actions, renegotiations, and exit strategies for underperforming concessions.

Passenger Experience & Commercial Activation

  • Ensure commercial concessions enhance the overall passenger journey and airport experience.
  • Partner with Marketing, Events, and Operations to activate commercial offers and improve customer engagement.
  • Support innovation initiatives to enhance convenience, digital enablement, and service quality.


Qualification: Bachelor degree in Management, Science or equivalent qualification.

Experience: Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Commercial, Property & Retail, Real estate or a related field, of which a minimum of 5 years of experience in Airport Concessions, Duty Free operations, F&B operations or a related industry.
