The Vice President of Operations is the senior leader responsible for manufacturing and fulfillment performance, with full accountability for production output, warehouse execution, labor productivity, and on time delivery. This is a hands on, floor focused role that drives factory and warehouse results while setting clear goals, metrics, and expectations across manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering.
Success in this role requires strong cross functional alignment, disciplined execution, and a commitment to developing leaders at all levels. The Vice President of Operations leads from the floor while effectively managing through leaders to improve performance, capability, and consistency across the entire operation.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Performance
-
Deliver production targets through improved labor efficiency, throughput, and delivery performance
-
Establish operating cadence, KPIs, and accountability across manufacturing
-
Improve safety, quality, and process flow by identifying and removing bottlenecks
Warehouse & Fulfillment
-
Ensure accurate, on time pick, pack, and ship execution
-
Improve warehouse productivity, layout, and workflow efficiency
-
Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy and organization
Quality & Continuous Improvement
-
Reduce defects, rework, and returns through disciplined problem solving
-
Strengthen root cause analysis and corrective action processes

Apply practical, floor level continuous improvement methods
Supply Chain, Engineering & Projects Oversight

Lead and develop senior leaders across supply chain, engineering, and project teams
-
Improve alignment between manufacturing priorities and material availability

Ensure engineering supports manufacturability, quality, and scalability
Operational Discipline & Systems

Implement KPIs, scorecards, and consistent operating rhythms

Improve ERP utilization, data accuracy, and performance visibility

Build accountability through structured performance management
Leadership & Team Development

Build a high accountability operations leadership team

Develop supervisors and managers through coaching and clear expectations

Strengthen overall operational capability and bench strength
Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience

Proven ownership of plant performance

Experience in $20M- $100M manufacturing environments

Experience working with supply chain and/or engineering

Experience improving quality and operational performance

Practical application of continuous improvement principles

Ability to grow into broader operational leadership
