Role Overview
The Waiter is responsible for delivering an exceptional fine dining experience by providing professional, attentive, and personalized service to guests in a high-end restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Dining Experience

Greet and welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner.

Present menus, explain dishes, and provide recommendations on food and beverage pairings.

Take and serve orders accurately while ensuring timely delivery.

Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized attention to enhance satisfaction.
Operational Duties

Set up, maintain, and clear tables according to high-end standards.

Assist in daily opening and closing duties of the restaurant.

Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.

Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
Knowledge & Upselling

Maintain detailed knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and wine/beverage offerings.

Upsell specials, premium items, and wine pairings to maximize revenue.

Stay updated on restaurant promotions, events, and service standards.
Hygiene & Safety

Ensure all dining areas are clean, organized, and meet health and safety standards.

Follow hygiene practices and service protocols strictly.
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in high-end restaurants, fine-dining, or luxury hotels.

Knowledge of fine-dining etiquette, service standards, and wine/beverage pairings.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
