Role Overview

The Waiter is responsible for delivering an exceptional fine dining experience by providing professional, attentive, and personalized service to guests in a high-end restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Dining Experience

  • Greet and welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Present menus, explain dishes, and provide recommendations on food and beverage pairings.
  • Take and serve orders accurately while ensuring timely delivery.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized attention to enhance satisfaction.

Operational Duties

  • Set up, maintain, and clear tables according to high-end standards.
  • Assist in daily opening and closing duties of the restaurant.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate to management when necessary.

Knowledge & Upselling

  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and wine/beverage offerings.
  • Upsell specials, premium items, and wine pairings to maximize revenue.
  • Stay updated on restaurant promotions, events, and service standards.

Hygiene & Safety

  • Ensure all dining areas are clean, organized, and meet health and safety standards.
  • Follow hygiene practices and service protocols strictly.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in high-end restaurants, fine-dining, or luxury hotels.
  • Knowledge of fine-dining etiquette, service standards, and wine/beverage pairings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
