Job description:

Can join immediately and should have UAE experience F&B industry. Preferable having own visa.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcome, greet and smile to customers when entering or leaving establishment
  • Strictly adhere to the Sales Pitch and procedure established by the company.
  • Answers "call" orders, record and ensure the items were delivered accordingly.
  • Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain high standard of hygiene and personal grooming according to the company’s operations manual and UAE health regulations
  • Preparing and serving beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate ones
  • Must be aware of trends and other techniques for preparing beverages
  • Preparing and serving food items as required
  • Serve the ordered food of the customer on a hygienic and friendly manner.
  • Answering customers' questions about menu choices
  • Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new ones
  • Promoting and recommending menu options to customers
  • Bag, box or wrap packages carefully.
  • Taking payment from customers
  • To operate the POS, ensure that cash collected and given and change are correct.
  • Handle cash, credit or check transactions with customers
  • Issue correct change, receipts, refunds, or tickets
  • Redeem stamps and coupons (if any)
  • Separate, count and reconcile the money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
  • Keep reports of transactions
  • Perform responsibility of Waiter / Dining Crew when needed.
  • Process returns and check to see if items are damaged
  • Set up counters and restock counters for serving purposes.
  • Record and maintain stocks and stock inventory.
  • Order items needed to replenish supplies and keep a list of inventory updated
  • Maintain the sanitation and cleanliness of the counter/service area
  • Assist in washing of glass and other utensils, as necessary, and the proper storage of these items after cleaning.
  • Reports any equipment for repairs.
  • Collect and maintain database and leads of customers.
  • Reports to immediate superior problems, issues and concern related to operations.
  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
  • Handle customer complaints as per job knowledge and address it to supervisor and/or manager
  • Perform any other duties as directed by the owner or the owner's representative.

Experience:

  • Waiter: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Essential Food Safety Training Certificate (EFST) (Preferred)
