Waiter

Job Summary

We are looking for energetic, customer-focused, and service-oriented Waiters to join our Hotel. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, ensure guest satisfaction, and create a warm and welcoming dining experience. Candidates should possess a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Present menus, explain dishes and beverages, and make recommendations when requested
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary
• Prepare and set up tables with linens, silverware, and glassware
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and dining areas at all times
• Process bills and accurately handle cash and card payments
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Waiter or in a similar role (preferred)
• Good communication skills in English
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Well-groomed and professional appearance
• Basic math skills for handling payments
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in hotels, restaurants, or the hospitality industry in the UAE
