Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Waiter to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, efficient order handling, and a thorough knowledge of our menu offerings. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable dining moments for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive until their departure. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders promptly to kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met through proper handling, serving, and clearing of dishes.
  • Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations to promote repeat business.
  • Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure seamless service flow.

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs.
  • Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is essential for order processing.
  • Demonstrated ability in customer service roles with excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is required to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Experience with OpenTable reservations system or similar booking platforms is a plus for managing guest reservations efficiently.
  • Strong time management skills combined with the ability to multitask effectively during busy hours.
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and accurate bill splitting are necessary for day-to-day operations.
