Waiter

We are looking for a charismatic & professional Wait staff for a cafe on Khorfakkan Beach:

Roles & Responsibilities include:

• Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies) & any assistance the customers may require
• Inform customers about any new menu launch items
• Up-sell additional products when appropriate
• Take accurate food and drinks orders and enter on POS ordering software.
• Communicate any order details to the Kitchen and Bar Staff where required.
• Provide the table with correct silverware and Serve food and drink orders
• Following up through their dining experience to ensure optimal customer experience
• Greet customers upon their departure and gathering feedback
• Coordinating with wait staff & kitchen staff in all matters regarding to dining service
• Ensuring the up-keep of cafe area by arranging table settings and consistently maintain a tidy dining area
• Catering to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
• Assist all team members as needed.
• Deliver checks and collect correct bill payments
• Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
• Follow all relevant health department regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to guests
• Maintaining stocks and Inventory by partaking in regular stock takes and inventory checks.
• Making sure all delivery orders are correctly received and handled.

Requirements:

Excellent Communications skills
2-3 years F&B experience
Arabic Speaking preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,200.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
