Waiter cum Cashier

  • Greeting and Seating:Welcoming guests, providing menus, and guiding them to available tables.
  • Order Taking:Accurately taking food and drink orders from customers, often using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Food and Beverage Service:Delivering orders to tables, ensuring food presentation and quality, and checking on customer satisfaction.
  • Menu Knowledge:Providing information about menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
  • Addressing Customer Needs:Responding to customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and attending to special requests.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness:Clearing tables, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring the dining area remains tidy.

Cashiering Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing: Entering orders into the POS system, calculating totals, and processing payments.
  • Payment Handling: Accepting cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment, and making change accurately.
  • Transaction Management: Issuing receipts, maintaining accurate records of transactions, and balancing the cash drawer.
  • Cash Handling: Ensuring the security of cash and other payment methods.
  • Closing Procedures: Balancing the cash drawer at the end of the shift and completing any necessary paperwork.
  • POS System Management: Understanding and utilizing the POS system for all transactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
