Waiter - Modern Japanese Restaurant | Jumeirah 1

We are looking for a professional and service-oriented Waiter to join our casual dining Japanese restaurant team in Dubai. The ideal candidate is energetic, guest-focused, and experienced in fast-paced restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining service standards
• Prepare and serve basic coffee and beverage orders
• Have good knowledge of menu items, especially Japanese cuisine and dining etiquette
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth operations
• Maintain cleanliness and proper table setup throughout service
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a waiter in a casual dining restaurant
• Knowledge or background in Japanese cuisine is required
• Basic barista experience and coffee preparation knowledge
• Experience using POS systems
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Well-groomed, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be available for immediate joining

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Japanese or Asian casual dining concepts
• Familiarity with specialty coffee preparation and beverage presentation
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards
