Waiter/Bartender/ Hostess

Overview
We are seeking waiters, bus boys, hostess or bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology and excellent customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. You will play a crucial role in our establishment by providing exceptional service while managing the bar area efficiently. Tips based.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Engage with customers to take drink and food orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area/ dining area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through POS or other point-of-sale systems.
• Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and adhere to local laws regarding alcohol service.
• Upsell drink specials and menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated candidates.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
• Knowledge of food service practices is beneficial for effective collaboration with kitchen staff.
• Ability to upsell menu items and create an inviting atmosphere for guests.
