Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation quality and adherence to food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure sanitation compliance
• Manage reservations using platforms like OpenTable and coordinate guest seating to optimize flow during busy hours
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries or concerns, fostering positive guest relations and resolving issues effectively

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs demonstrates adaptability to diverse service settings
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for accurate billing and transactions
• Experience with food industry standards including food safety, food preparation, and sanitation protocols
• Host/hostess experience or serving background that highlights excellent guest interaction skills is a plus
