Waitress

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and answering inquiries about menu items, specials, and promotions.
• Accurately record food and beverage orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen and barista stations.
• Serve orders in a timely manner, ensuring presentation and temperature meet quality standards.
• Monitor table conditions, refill beverages, and respond to guest requests proactively.
• Process payments via cash, credit card, or mobile payment platforms, and issue accurate receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining area, tables, and service stations throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and resolve any guest concerns professionally.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations as per Qatar Municipality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a waitress or server in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
• Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written); English proficiency is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must hold a valid Qatari ID or transferable visa (NOC required).
