We are looking for an experienced server to join our team!

***Currently hiring full time AM server 10:30am-5pm Wed-Sun

Must be at least 21 years old.

Must have experience.

La Boca is a well established restaurant downtown that has been a staple in Santa Fe dining for 20 years. At La Boca we hold a high stand for service and operate in a professional yet unpretentious manner. We are looking for someone that values teamwork and structure and wants to work hard for a small business where employees are valued above all else.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through menus
• Take orders
• Input orders accurately and timely
• Pour drinks
• Servers are responsible for knowing everything on the food and drink menus
• Take payments
• Bus tables
• Run food
• Assist other servers
• Any additional task the manager may require

Expectations

• Maintain a postive attitude
• Be team player
• Maintain flexible availability
• Have knowledge of the entire food menu
• Have knowledge of the entire drinks menu

Requirements

• Understanding of restaurant etiquette
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• Demonstrable customer-service skills
• Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining area
• Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
• Schedule flexibility (we cannot guarantee a set schedule)
• Positive attitude
• Works well in a team setting
• Food handlers card
• Alcohol Servers License (Must be at least 21)
• Serving experience
• Basic wine knowledge (minimum)
• Genuine love of hospitality and people

Hours/Pay

3-5 shifts per week

$4.50 per hour plus tips

Our servers make and average of $35 per hour.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $55.00 per hour
