Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary needs are accommodated
- Serve meals and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation as needed in accordance with safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables, bussing, and sanitizing surfaces
- Support the dietary department by handling food safely, adhering to sanitation guidelines, and managing food handling procedures
- Ensure timely delivery of orders, coordinate with kitchen staff, and manage multiple tables effectively
- Uphold excellent customer service standards by addressing guest inquiries promptly and courteously
- Assist with general kitchen duties such as cleaning, organizing supplies, and supporting meal preparation when required
Experience
- Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly desirable
- Experience in food production, food handling, serving, or dietary aide roles provides a strong foundation for success
- Familiarity with food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and kitchen operations is preferred
- Strong time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Background in culinary arts or dietetics enhances understanding of meal preparation and dietary requirements
- Customer service experience demonstrates ability to engage positively with diverse guests or residents
- Prior kitchen experience including cooking, cleaning, bussing, or sanitation tasks is advantageous

Pay: From $5.50 per hour
