Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for our guests are essential.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
• Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Handle cash transactions accurately and manage payment processing
• Support other team members as needed to enhance overall guest experience

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing customer support capabilities
• Previous experience in customer service or client services is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using computer systems for data entry
• Excellent phone etiquette with experience in outbound calling or call center environments
• Strong analysis skills for managing reservations and guest feedback effectively
• Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly with attention to detail in cash handling
• Typing skills for efficient communication and record keeping
