Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as a hostess, managing reservations and seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and servers
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and maintaining a friendly demeanor throughout their visit
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions swiftly and accurately
• Assist with setting up dining areas, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests
• Handle guest relations professionally over the phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and hospitality skills
• Support team members in serving food and beverages when needed to enhance overall guest experience

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members
• Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest services, and hospitality standards is a plus
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Hotel or guest relations experience is beneficial but not mandatory
• Demonstrated professionalism with excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
