Waitstaff/Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to serving food and beverages with professionalism and flair.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests promptly, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
• Present menus, provide detailed descriptions of menu items, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha or Micros POS systems.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Process payments accurately through cash handling and cashiering procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience while maximizing sales opportunities.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles, with fine dining experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha, Micros, or OpenTable is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Culinary experience is a plus, enhancing your ability to describe menu items effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $2.25 - $7.25 per hour
