Waitstaff/Server

Job Summary:

The Wait Staff is responsible for taking and serving food and drink orders to customers on the casino floor

as quickly and efficiently as possible.

DUTIES And Responsibilities

· Customer Satisfaction is our top priority- which means going above and beyond to keep our customer happy.

· Portrays a healthy, positive attitude and friendly disposition, greeting every customer that he/she encounters in the facility with a smile and an enthusiastic attitude.

· Must check patrons’ identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.

· Adhere to all Quapaw Tribal and State rules, regulations, and ordinances regarding the serving of alcoholic beverages.

· Must be constantly aware of all patrons regarding knowing when and how to handle situations that may arise such as “cutting off” or refusing to continue to serve patrons in accordance with A.B.L.E. Commission guidelines.

· Accountable for managing a cash drawer and responsible for cash handling errors and/or shortages as outlined in policy/procedures.

· Complete daily opening side work as designated by management, preparing all areas of the building for food and drink service.

· Must follow dress code as directed by management and maintain a neat and clean appearance while on duty (e.g., appropriate hair/makeup for women, hair/facial hair grooming for men).

· Meets attendance guidelines of the job, adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

· Attend all necessary training meetings and assist in other projects as directed.

· Performs other clerical duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· Must be a minimum of 18 years of age upon employment.

· High school diploma or its equivalent required.

· Must possess excellent communication skills.

· Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

· Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

· Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with others.

· Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Key license through the QNGA.

· Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid liquor license through the State of Oklahoma A.B.L.E. Commission.

· Must maintain a valid Food Handler Permit.

· Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $9.00 per hour
