WANTED: Head of Airfreight Singapore

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Airfreight to join our team in Singapore. Are you up for the challenge? Apply now to join our team!

Deadline for Applications: 31 December 2025 The successful applicant will be involved with:

• Driving GFF (General Freight Forwarding) airfreight business growth ex-Singapore and into Singapore for international exports and imports.
• Build and lead the airfreight team.
• Setting up subcontractor portfolio (airlines, GHAs, truckers) and negotiate export rates with carriers.
• Setting up a lean, centralized airfreight operation with high-quality customer service.
• Setting up a gateway for airfreight consolidation services ex-Singapore, including BUP utilization
• Provide out-of-gauge expertise, charter handling, and supervision for special projects and standard business.
• Increase business growth KPIs, GP, and tonnage.
• Support import sales initiatives with BD and trading partners.
• Lead and support GFF air tender submissions.
• Implement airfreight products for Singapore and submarkets.
• Support Global Marketing with market news and developments and social media content creation.
• Implement tools to work lean and digital (e.g., Cargo one and others).
• Support BD to sell and win airfreight contracts.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, compliance requirements, TSA regulations, and IATA standards.

The successful applicant will have/be:

• Professional experience in international airfreight operations and knowledge of carrier/airline procurement.
• Extensive experience building an airfreight gateway with BUP knowledge.
• Professional knowledge in contract terms and condition negotiations with clients and airline partners.
• Goal-oriented to meet KPIs, which will be set individually each year.
• Proficient in business English.

This job requires 25% travel time (domestic and international).
