WALK-AND-TRAIN SPECIALIST

Are you passionate about dogs and positive reinforcement training? We're seeking an experienced Dog Handler to join our team and provide one-on-one Walk-and-Train services throughout Manhattan.

In this role, you'll help dogs build confidence, improve leash skills, reduce reactivity, and develop good manners in real-world environments—all while delivering exceptional care and customer service.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on dog handling experience
• Experience with positive reinforcement (R+) training methods
• Confidence working with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently outdoors

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday availability between 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Most new team members average 10–20 hours per week after training, with opportunities for growth

Requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Fluent in English
• Dependable, punctual, and familiar with city transit
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
