Wanted Urgently Telecom Outdoor Technician cum Helper

Key Responsibilities

Civil Excavation: Perform manual digging, trenching, backfilling, and compaction for underground telecom routes.

Duct & Pipe Laying: Assist in laying HDPE/PVC pipes, installing warning tapes, and sealing duct ends to prevent blockage.

Chamber Preparation: Clean, prepare, and assist in installing underground concrete utility chambers (manholes/handholes).

Cable Installation: Assist in pulling, guiding, and blowing fiber optic and copper cables through the underground duct network.

Site Safety Set-up: Set up road safety barriers, traffic cones, and warning signs around the work zone before starting work.

Material Handling: Load, unload, and safely transport construction materials, cables, and tools around the project site.

Tool Maintenance: Safely operate and clean basic hand and power tools (shovels, breakers, drills) and ensure they are stored properly at the end of the day.

Requirements

Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy manual labor and stand for long hours in outdoor weather conditions.

Teamwork: Ability to follow verbal instructions from the site engineer or supervisor clearly.

Safety Awareness: Strict adherence to site safety rules, including wearing PPE (helmet, safety shoes, high-visibility vest) at all times.

Experience: Prior experience in civil construction, utility trenching, or cable pulling is highly preferred but not mandatory.
