Job Purpose
To provide administrative and coordination support in the inpatient ward by maintaining patient records, facilitating communication between departments, assisting in billing coordination, and ensuring smooth ward operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Patient Admission & Documentation
- Receive and verify admission documents from Front Office.
- Maintain patient files and ensure all forms are completed.
- Ensure consent forms are properly filed.
- Update patient census and bed occupancy records daily.
2. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate between doctors, nurses, pharmacy, lab, billing, and other departments.
- Inform consultants regarding patient admission/discharge.
- Arrange for diagnostic tests as instructed.
- Communicate discharge intimation to billing department.
3. Billing & Insurance Support
- Ensure daily charge entries are updated in HIS.
- Coordinate with billing department for interim and final bills.
- Assist in insurance/TPA documentation coordination.
4. Medical Records & Confidentiality
- Maintain patient confidentiality as per hospital policy.
- Ensure proper documentation for audits (NABH compliance).
- Prepare discharge file and ensure complete documentation before handover.
5. Ward Administrative Support
- Maintain ward registers (Admission, Discharge, Transfer).
- Monitor availability of forms and stationery.
- Support ward in census reporting and daily statistics.

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
