Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and compassionate Ward Staff Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients admitted in the hospital ward. The ideal candidate will be skilled in patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and support during recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients admitted in the ward
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient progress, and clinical status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Assist in patient hygiene, feeding, mobility, and overall comfort
- Prepare patients for procedures or surgeries as required
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and nursing observations
- Coordinate with doctors, allied health professionals, and other nurses for comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families on illness management and discharge instructions
- Follow infection control, safety, and hospital protocols at all times
- Participate in shift handovers and update the incoming nurse about patient condition
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (GNM or BSc Nursing)
- 1–2 years of experience in hospital wards preferred (new graduates may be considered)
- Basic knowledge of nursing procedures, hospital protocols, and patient care standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and able to work under pressure
Work Environment:
- Hospital general wards (medical, surgical, orthopedics, pediatrics, etc.)
- Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physically demanding role requiring long hours of standing and patient handling
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
